Hi, I'm Riley, one of the enthusiastic coaches at Skyhook Ninja Fitness! At 19 years old, I have a natural connection with kids thanks to my abundant energy and knowledge of various interests that children love, such as Pokémon cards, video games, sports, and martial arts. I graduated from Tigard High School, where I volunteered in the daycare center through the child development program. As an Eagle Scout from Troop 799, I've mentored dozens of Cub Scouts and have a lifelong commitment to scouting. Although I don't have extensive formal experience with kids, I grew up in a large family, surrounded by siblings, nephews, and nieces ranging from 4 to 18 years old. This experience has helped me develop the ability to connect with children of different personalities and temperaments. Diagnosed with a unique form of ADHD at a young age, I've honed my teaching skills to engage students and make learning enjoyable. I understand that each child is unique and create specialized plans to cater to individual needs, encouraging students to find their own solutions and gain a sense of accomplishment. Despite my loud and deep voice, I'm energetic, kind, and gentle. Don't be surprised if you see me geeking out every once in a while when a child mentions something I'm passionate about! I love teaching and am constantly striving to improve my skills. I'm excited to welcome your child to my Ninja/Little Ninja and Climbing classes at Skyhook Ninja Fitness.
