Yoga has always been many things to me and its meaning in my life has taken many forms. Yoga is of course a vast science of practices and disciplines, although today it is often treated as just a physical practice. I first came to yoga because of the physical aspect of it, to heal injuries and chronic pain. I love the physical dimension of yoga, but I continue to practice and teach because yoga is so infinite and limitless. It is truly a practice of self discovery and self inquiry. Yoga is so expansive and vast that you never know where it can lead you, you never know how much you can change and how deep your breakthroughs can be. And whether I’m teaching a vinyasa class or a sculpt class I always remember that, and I always try to make the class as meaningful as it can be!
