Irene Pica, E-RYT 500, has been teaching yoga for more than 25 years. She has studied a wide range of yoga styles with world-renowned teachers including Rodney Yee, Shiva Rea and Gary Kraftsow, but the heart of her practice and teaching is in the Kripalu tradition. A creative, compassionate and inspirational teacher, her teaching style blends an informed knowledge of body mechanics with a unique sense of flow and connection between movements. After intensive training in ballet and other forms of dance, raising three daughters, and a career in corporate human resources, Irene founded Symmetry Yoga Center in Westport, CT in 2001. She also taught classes and workshops at Kaia Yoga & Wellness Center in Westport for several years. In 2016, she moved to Rhode Island and joined the staff of All That Matters. Her classes focus on enhancing health and healing at all levels: mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.
