My home. Yoga came into my life when I needed it the most. I was struggling with my mental health. After the first week into practicing yoga, I bought my first yoga mat. It was in that moment I just knew I had to keep showing up! When I show up on my mat I know I can be myself. Every time I step on my mat Im brought back one step closer to my home, the authentic me; before life happened. I never felt more myself than when I am on my mat. I am able to express myself mentally, physically and spiritually. Yoga has shown me the peace, love and serenity I have wanted has always been within me, even if I had to step on my mat to find it. I don’t practice yoga for the poses. I practice to come back to myself. Yoga has brought me back to myself in so many different ways. It has helped heal my heart, mind and soul. My hope is to be able to reconnect my students back home also. Kristyn's teacher is Lisanne Rae Cozart.
