Daniel discovered yoga in 2014 in Chicago, Illinois as a college student at Northwestern University as he sought out an outlet to better understand his body and to complement his ice hockey training. His passion for yoga quickly grew, leading to an ongoing journey of self-discovery, grounding, and mindfulness. He first received his 200 hr RYT certification in January 2019, and has taught across Chicago since moving to Boston in June of 2023. Now a 500 hr E-RYT, Daniel aims to help his students find the same grounding and strength that he has experienced throughout his journey as a yoga practitioner and teacher. Outside of DownUnder you can find Daniel in the great outdoors hiking or rock climbing, seeing a theater production, or playing recreational ice hockey at a local rink. Daniel is always looking to grow and improve his abilities as a yoga instructor, so always feel free to approach with feedback and questions!
