COLBY SCHRECKENGOST Owner/Director of Training Molded by his own experiences, Colby got into fitness and performance training because of his desire to educate both athletes and adults about better health, exercise and performance enhancement through safe, effective and scientifically proven methods. In fact, while attending and playing football for Murray State University, Colby was injured during strength training because of improper techniques being taught at the time. As a result, he underwent two back surgeries before he was 22 years old, and was never able to reach his full athletic potential. Now, his goal is to help athletes and adults train the right way. Colby worked 12 years as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach and assistant football coach at the Division 1A level, and most recently ran Next Level Fitness and Performance in Warrenton for 7 years, where he helped the athletic careers of many high school, collegiate and professional players. In May of 2010, Colby moved Next Level Fitness and Performance to its current location in Haymarket, Virginia and has already drawn in a number of elite local athletes, as well as adults looking for a better way to meet their fitness goals.
